It was with mixed emotions that I woke up today to learn that Entrecard was sold.  Sometimes a leader is SO bad you begin to enjoy their nonsense.  Graham Langdon was Kim Jung Il with an asshat, running his online version of North Korea into the ground.  The following is the main announcement from the Entrecard blog.

Today I was peaking over my garden fence and received a mild scare.  A dragon fly buzzed at me!  Sitting on the corner of the bird netting about a foot away, this thing created a buzzing hiss from its wings.  My 5 year old son came running over thinking I had found something cool; what could be cooler than a giant bug that scared Dad?  “Don’t touch it” I said, “Just look while I go in and get the camera”.

Every week or two I run the lawnmower over the backyard, grass, weeds and all.  The last few times I noticed some bright red objects in the grass.  I dismissed them as some type of mushroom since they didn’t look like any type of strawberry I knew of.

When I started this blog in October of 2007 I had no idea what the focus would be.   I was excited about blogging itself, but not any one topic.  Almost two years later I’m ready to change gears yet again.  All I know is that you have to write about what you are interested in.  If you have no passion for your topic, your writing will be bland and robotic, that’s if you can bring yourself to write at all.   My passion since April has been for gardening, fantasy baseball, and Microsoft Expression Design 2, in that order.
