The demo works fine. I had no transparency issues nor any of the graphical errors that you had. The demo is not designed to be run in DX10. The 1st person view is mainly for the Hunter, there is an option to switch to 3rd person as seen in many of the videos online. Both you and some people who posted comments need to keep in mind that this IS a demo...

On the comments of there only being 2 classes. The final game will have 6 classes available to the non-subscribers. There are only two available because if they gave you access to all the classes, they may as well give the the damn game for free. And yes, the fact that they are going to charge a monthly subscription fee sucks. I personally hate games that do that. Luckily there is an option for all of use cheap folk (including me =D). We still get the normal stuff in the game. The subscribers just get "additional bonuses" (Translated: Crap I don't need to have fun).

On the issue of combat and whatnot. The combat in the demo is SUPPOSED to be easy... The Zombies are designed to be the lowest level enemies of the game (the basic zombies that is). I have yet to see a zombie that DOESN'T die from being hacked apart by a large sword. So I don't see an issue with the zombies being able to be killed in one hit. I played as a Hunter, and it takes several rounds (Anywhere from 2-5) to put down one. That sounds reasonable given that I was level one and that in popular fiction zombies are typically able to withstand several rounds.

While the demo does disappoint me in several areas (The fact thats it's single player?). We must try to keep in mind that this is after all a DEMO. Also note that the beta recently finished and they will have probably cleaned up many of the issues seen in the demo. I don't think they had the demo designed so much to reel people in but rather with the same purpose as the beta (Finding issues). Well, I'm probably not going to pre-order, but I definitely think that this will turn out to be at least relatively sucessful.

I'm going to London!! XP

Well if that demo was the best idea on how to reel people in, it clearly didn't work. Couple that with the BS subscription plan, and I don't think that this game is gonna be a clear winner. Hope I'm wrong, but that's just the feeling I get.

The demo's color was just plain all grey. Pretty much no other color visible. Identical streets. My goodness, and how long did they work on this?

It is a DEMO, folks! This was cut from the gold path several weeks ago; lots of improvements since then. So, you are all clairvoyant and can see the future thus you know exactly how the game will be when it is shipped?! What a bunch of whiners.
