The second edition of Free E-book Friday presents a title called Blogging Traffic: Discover The Little-Known Secrets Of Blogging – Free Website Traffic From Blogs! Sounds exciting and you can get your copy right here: Free E-Book #2 . Just to remind you, the author states “You may distribute this eBook in any way you like, however the content may not be reproduced in any way”. That means don’t take it and publish it as articles on your website.
4 of the first 5 tips are no-brainers unless today is your first day blogging. Feedburner, Technorati, finding a niche, and writing good content are all sound ideas. However, I find forums to be a horrible idea and don’t suggest them to any blogger unless they are sure they want them.
The author then provides 8 so-so business tips for setting up an internet business. Again, unless it’s your first experience with e-commerce there is nothing new here.
Next follows a tip how blog comments improve SEO rankings. No comment on that. Then 3 tips to “make money blogging”, “5 Basic Things Internet Marketers Must Have”, an article on StumbleUpon, and finally a ”Top Secret AdSense Case Study” that conveniently has an affiliate link to a keyword tool.
Anyone blogging over a month probably knows all these secrets. Those looking to put out their own e-book and worry they don’t know any real secrets should like this book. It shows that enough bold text and exclamation points can make anything look exciting.
Again, it’s yours free for download. Some of you found some usable ideas in the last book, so I’ll let you make that decision. The e-book has not be edited or changed from it’s original form.
Hey, why…”Next follows a tip how blog comments improve SEO rankings. No comment on that.”
Is it self-explanatory or incorrect or you just had nothing to say?
Thanks I try to read it. I still haven’t read the first book, need to study for my final first
Stan: They do improve SEO when the nofollow tag is removed, but there is nothing worse than comment spam. Just for fun go to johnchow.com and look who posts in the comments every day. It’s the most weasely Entrecarders. When Google indexes them, it tends to lump all comments together as one link. You have to click again to see omitted results.
You know…I hate when firefox updates and messes with all my settings…once again, I’ve lost the ability to drop, and now looking at your site hurts my head because it’s all scrambled…
Any free e-books on how to get tech-saavy enough to fix my own stupidity????
Linda: Did you restart firefox before loading my site? I looked at it in IE7 and Firefox and see no scrambling. It also might scramble if your monitor resolution is below 1024×768. If you click “tools” and then clear “cache” that might help.
hey will you be sharing any more ebooks just wondering?
thanks great blog btw
Yes, I have plenty more until people get bored with them.
I am pretty new to blogging and some of the terms I see on these “how to” sites can get crazy over my head.
Thanks for the information. It should help.
Grandy, Free eBook #1 had many more useful tips. Be sure to look back for that one. The most important lesson is “never pay for online advice”. It’s all out there for free if you look.
This sounds like RIVETING reading! I’m all agog to get into it! Oh Obi Wan, you bring us such wonderful wisdom!
