I thought I would post a few of the recent submissions to the CMF Ads Logo Contest. The contest will continue until we launch our new widget, so be sure to submit an entry or two. The winner will receive $20 worth of free advertising and the pride of seeing their logo used on the network. Not to mention putting “Logo contest Winner” on their resume. Something simple.
Simple is the way to go, but the contest isn’t over yet. So far we have looked at about 40 sample logos. There is one I like best, but it’s up to the other judges as well.
I noticed a favicon on the forums… could that be the one you like best? Because I quite like it too. i’m assuming the grey blocks at the bottom of CMF say ‘ads’ when seen on a larger scale. If they don’t I don’t like it as much

I don’t think I like the word “ads” on logo.
I like #1, 8, and 9 best so far. I think red text,color, looks good with a grey, black site…like CNN.com, although the CMF logo will be going everywhere.
I hope you got my submissions from last night. I don’t really know what I’m doing when it comes to graphic design but I am having fun! I may have another to submit soon.

Those look really great – you’ll have a tough choice to make. Personally, I like the grey textured boxes one (top row, middle)
