Blog advertising network CMF Ads has just added the ability to place a single ad over their entire network. In addition, they have increased the discount on bulk purchases of credits. Below is the announcement from the CMF Ads blog:
“We’ve just added a new feature that allows you to place an ad on every publisher in our network. Just click on the “Place Network Ad” option in your sidebar. Because this option is for large scale advertisers, we’ve added three new increments to the Buy Credits screen. You can now buy 500, 1000 or 2000 credits in one go. To get started with network ads, sign up, add your advertiser account, buy some credits, and click “Place Network Ad”.”
To access the new feature, registered members should click on the “Place Network Ad” Link in their control panel. On the screen shown below, advertisers can then set the criteria for which blogs to include based upon cost and CPM. For example, say I wanted to place an add on all blogs who charge 1 credit for 30 days, and have a CPM below $1 per 1000 page views. I enter the numbers, click “Recalculate” and the amount of credits this would cost me is automatically updated. I may then place the ad if I have enough credits.

An advertiser would need 136 credits in the above example to continue to the next step and finalize their ad purchase. To make network wide ads even more attractive, CMF has lowered the credit purchase price for bulk advertisers as well.
- 40 Credits $10.00
- 80 Credits $19.00
- 120 Credits $28.00
- 160 Credits $37.00
- 200 Credits $45.00
- 500 Credits $115.00
- 1000 Credits $230.00
- 2000 Credits $450.00
What’s great is that it’s already boosted the total number of running ads by 300. Last month we hit a bit of a plateau, so we needed something to get more ads running across the network.
While I certainly can’t be classified as a “bulk advertiser” I can see where this would be very beneficial to people.
I would love to see a tutorial somewhere on what all this CPM CTR means in terms I could understand. I will admit that it’s all very bewildering to me as to what I should be looking for in sites to advertise on.
Thanks for this post.. I’ve been seeing the CMF ad spots on more and more blogs but hadn’t checked into it yet
