Imagine my surprise when I received the following email message today: Hi, Turnip of Power. Turnip of Power (d4lilr) is now following your tweets on Twitter.” I did a doubletake. So I’m following myself? Checking the account of this person showed that they had already been suspended. In that short time they had managed to [...]

I just got another of those dreaded automated direct messages thanking me for following them on twitter. I didn’t recall adding this person. In fact, I hadn’t added anyone in over 3 months unless I personally knew them. Could someone have found a way to force me to follow them though some back door? Not likely. Someone thinking [...]

Google Wave is the latest communication tool from search engine giant Google. Think of Wave as a combination instant messenger and discussion forum. Right from launch the application interface has a familiar feel. There is an inbox, a list of contacts, and an area containing “waves”. A “wave” is a discussion on a topic, hence the [...]

It was with mixed emotions that I woke up today to learn that Entrecard was sold. Sometimes a leader is SO bad you begin to enjoy their nonsense. Graham Langdon was Kim Jung Il with an asshat, running his online version of North Korea into the ground. The following is the main announcement from the Entrecard [...]

Former Entrecard Mod Lee Doyle received a 4 year jail term for sexually abusing a young child. Mr. Doyle was an organizer for the group “Fathers 4 Justice ” and ran the now defunct leedoyle.com, along with the “U-Drop/ I Follow” Entrecard group. (an idea which he admitted to stealing) As for why he received the maximum sentence: [...]

So where were we? Graham “Adele” Langdon posting as a sock puppet, Entrecard closing it’s forum to the public in response, and plenty of name calling from both sides of the EC fence. Normally I let insults from those who have never read my blog fall by the wayside. But when one of those insults comes [...]

Bad enough Entrecard founder Graham Langdon blamed the “Eastern World” for ruining the Entrecard economy, but his latest gaff is even more embarrassing. Graham has been caught commenting on his own forums under an assumed identity. This identity takes the guise of an Asian female. Complete with bad grammar, his secret personality defends Entrecard while attacking it’s critics. [...]

In a startingly racist April 11th blog comment from Graham Langdon, Entrecard blames the “Eastern World” for it’s problems. “we are going to move as close to a free market as possible, but with the potential to abuse of the drop system, black markets and “farms” in the eastern world bottomed out the price of [...]

All it takes is basic math to see why Entrecard will never succeed as an income earning advertising medium for bloggers. Simply look at the “best case scenario” and the “worst case scenario”. Best Case: 300 real bloggers casually dropping on other real blogs. What is a casual dropper? Any number works, but lets say 100 [...]

To quote the Entrecard blog: “Right now you can buy ads on over 30,000 blogs across 60 vertical niches“. This bold faced lie has been repeated over and over by Mr Langdon about his Entrecard Traffic Exchange on both his own forums and on twitter. Why doesn’t anyone publicly call him on this figure? It’s [...]
