I’m thinking of changing this blog’s tagline to “All things about Entrecard…” Just joking, but Entrecard has captured my immediate blogging life. The more I get involved with their community the more I appreciate their service, and my fellow bloggers. I guess thats why when an Entrecard member rejects my ad I feel so much pain. Not [...]

I will share one more tip with you. I mentioned how you could use a URL like the following to possibly increase your alexa rank: http://redirect.alexa.com/redirect?turnipofpower.com/ . Well, I got a personalized rejection from one blog accusing me of “alexa.com abuse in link”. Now, that is about as silly a reason you could make up. First of [...]

I apologize for anybody that tried to reach my page and couldn’t. Earlier in the day I installed WP-Super-Cache. It worked wonderfully, cutting down my page load time sometimes to 1 second. Then a few hours later, nothing, all php requests failed. Strangely enough, the only pages that could be seen were those super-cache still [...]

Correction, you love my “Weekly Top Dropper” widget because you are as addicted as I am to card dropping. Making one is very simple in WordPress. OK, it’s not really a widget because it doesn’t auto-update, but it’s cool anyway. Here’s how to do it: Log into entrecard.com, visit your dashboard, and click on “More [...]

Since my last post I’ve had a great number of entrecard droppers visit my site (over 300), and I have been to a few hundred of their sites. Viewing that many blogs you start to see patterns. I’d like to share some of what I have learned. For Publishers Tip #1. Make sure your entrecard [...]

These credits can then be spent to feature your ad on other sites. Sign up is free and quick. All it requires is a 125×125 .jpg or .png. and a suitable website. [...]

Project Wonderful is a website that makes advertising online more awesome! True to their word, it’s been the only online advertising service that managed to sell ads on my newly launched Computer Tech News site. Similar in operation to AdToll, which I reviewed yesterday, it allows advertisers to bid on text and graphic ad space. There [...]

Let’s hope they arrive in large numbers. With my recent launch of Computer Tech News, I was looking for a way to generate traffic. Any traffic at all would be fine, just to show advertisers that there were pageviews coming from somewhere else other than my WordPress admin panel. My first thought was Adwords, but I’ve [...]
