I know most of you drop from the inbox. But for those just starting in EC, and those who prefer list dropping because it’s much faster, I offer my bookmarks. You can download them anytime by clicking the tab in my header. Each folder shows how many times that person has dropped on me in the last 30 days. Be extra nice to those who drop often, because those are the one’s who will also drop on you daily.
Entrecard Bookmarks last updated 7/6/2008
Release Notes:
- Blogs that do not drop cards have been removed.
- All new blogs that posted asking to be included have been added.
- Folders are now based upon the total drops received by turnipofpower.com in the last 30 days. Those who drop 25-30 times a month receive 4 drops per day from my multiple accounts.
- Those who drop very few times per month will now see the number of drops by me greatly reduced.
Directions: For this to work you need Firefox:
- Download the following zip file: Entrecard.zip
- Unzip file, open Firefox and choose “Organize Bookmarks”
- Now choose “Import” and point towards the entrecard.html file.
Please do not repost these links or the zip file.
Once you install the bookmarks, adding new sites to the list is easy. I suggest installing an addon called Bookmark Duplicate Detector. This addon helps you by letting you know if you already bookmarked a site previously. (Note: only for Firefox 2.0, Firefox 3.0 doesn’t need this plugin since that fuctionality is built right in).

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a Trackback **********Turnip, I have a question, don’t really know if you know, but I had to uninstall firefox much to my disappointment because of it being so very very very slow. Because of all the comments at firefox on this same issue, what do you recommend I do? Should I try a clean download, or just wait for a fix from firefox?
I had no issues with firefox3 like that. The first thing I might try is to disable the Phishing filter. Under option/privacy you can uncheck “tell me if the site I’m visiting is a suspected forgery”. In my own case, I sometimes get a slowdown when Flash tries to update itself. Press ctrl+alt+del and see if a process called Flashutility9 is trying to run, and end it. Do you have any idea what firefox attributes the slowness to?
Ettarose, I had the same problem with Firefox 3, it was so bad I downloaded 2.0.0.15 and reinstalled. This could have been caused by “twitkit” which I had running or I may have thought it was the problem with cPanel on my website running slow. I’ll probably give it another shot in a couple of weeks.
Your on my google reader so can you “add Me”.
Thanks - Beamer
That’s awesome because I drop on here everyday since I started (I think, I missed about 150 drops yesterday because of a family emergency.. I was dropping during the call.) But I think I might have gotten you yesterday. But yeah, I’m new to entrecard but I already love it and it’s already done wonders for me.
Thanks for the awesome post, as usual.
