I recently took my family to the Great Wolf Lodge on a 3 day vacation. Great Wolf Lodge is a chain of 11 hotels that feature an indoor waterpark and other activities for children. Overall I give the hotel high marks in all areas except the price of rooms and services. Fun: The hotel’s main attraction is [...]

Recently Entrecard announced users had 5 days to remove quickdrop pages. Today, Linda asked me if my list of bookmarks was a violation of any new rules. A related question was asked by Annie: “I wanted to ask you what you think of Entrecard Credit Generator. It seems like it might be a good deal, although [...]

Last week I wrote about why the Inbox is bad for Entrecard. What I didn’t talk about is what should replace it. Sure, lists of bookmarks like mine work great, but what about bloggers without lists? People have come to expect some type of guide on whom to drop. Read on for my solution. Currently the inbox [...]

What he meant is that CTR is one aspect taken into consideration of Google Adsense’s Smart Pricing. Smart Pricing is when Google [...]

Several posts in the Entrecard forums appeared recently by people who question the Entrecard economy. They complain they can get the same traffic from Project Wonderful or elsewhere for less. I won’t be reviewing Entrecard today, but I’d like to address this one issue. I’m waiting for their official announcement of new changes some time next week before [...]

It’s been a long time since I last published a list of my favorite WordPress plugins. Half a year later have my tastes changed? Yes, as have my needs. I check for new plugins daily, always on the lookout for something better. These days I use 20 plugins, not all of them activated. Here are my [...]

One month ago I reviewed the Clickbooth Network and figured it was about time to report on the results. For thirty days I ran a 460×80 banner under the first post of my site and a rotating 125×125 ad next to my Entrecard. The ads were shown 18,875 times. Total number of clicks was 685. Total number [...]

The announcement is supposed to be so big it will change Entrecard forever. “This partnership isn’t a money play, but damnit you are all going to love it.” Let’s examine the clues and see if we can guess.
