I discovered a cool little trick using the All in One SEO Pack. Many websites use this plugin for WordPress SEO purposes. However, one feature of the plugin that usually went unused was the Additional Home, Post, and Page Headers. As the author explains:
What you enter here will be copied verbatim to your header on the home page. You can enter whatever additional headers you want here, even references to stylesheets.”

Sometimes I would type in keywords, resulting in an ugly bunch of words across the top of the page. Just goofing around on my tech blog, I pasted my Google Adsense Links code into the 3 areas. The end result looked rather cool. It’s great for people who don’t like to manually edit their templates.

Anyone type something else of interest into these areas? I bet you could slap the Google Analytics code into there as well. To center the code add the html tags <center><your adsense code></center>. Crude, but it works.

There are SO many things I don’t know about using WP, and this was one of them. Thanks so much for educating me/us.
Cool, thanks for the great info.
Cool. I’ll have to investigate the all-in-one SEO pack a little deeper.
Ok, that’s just cool. I always use windows live writer to post my blog entries, but maybe once in a while, I’ll log on just so I can play with that. Thanks for the info
Great tip, Turnip!
I have SEO pack installed, but admit that I barely use it. I’ve added Zemantra as well and that has some cool features to it.
I’ll put my google thing in there and see what that does to the site.

Zemantra? I know nothing about them. Zemantra.com was a dead site, but I’ll keep a look out for them.
Ah…I’m so sad…I had to google “What does SEO stand for?” in order to understand THIS post…I’d seen the term before, just had NO clue what it was…duh!
Search Engine Optimization. The art of trying to get Google search to send visitors your way, which it would naturally do, except for the 200 billion spam pages created by “get rich quick niche” software.
I just downloaded it today…haven’t used it yet, thanks for the tips…
I have that plug in but I don’t know enough about it to use it properly and I have too much trouble reading and understanding those help pages wp writes.
I am not knocking AIOSP I used it for some time, but truth be told that and many other superior features can be found in Headspace2. If you look at a lot of the top blogging niche blogger’s page source, as I have done many times, you will find a lot of them use headspace2 even if they are telling people to use AIOSP.
I could be wrong on that part, but wrong or not the fact that HS2 would have let them easily make those changes between pages makes it worth using. I give the plugin a review on my blog and so does Mani at the Daily SEO Blog. He is a big proponent of HS2.

I think I had an extra “r” in there for some reason.
