I’ve gone and removed all the ads except Google from the front page.  Google ads were reduced to one referral ad and one adsense ad.  I also left the link to Sales.turnipofpower.com since it’s really a site link.  Few if any people were clicking on the other ads, or mistakenly thought I was profiting from merchant banners.  You can still click on the “ADS” link above if you really miss them.  I couldn’t remove that link yet because other pages are attached to it, but it will be going after Christmas. 

In addition, I’ve added orange text below each post directing readers to an ad-free work safe Google search.  The search feature is actually useful for users, and I make a few pennies off each search when people click on the paid search results.  Over the long run it is more profitable than all the merchant offers.

Also changed were the header and sidebar graphics.  I felt the base Talian theme looked too common lately.  Nothing really differentiated my site from anyone else using the same theme.  Hopefully the site now has it’s own unique look.
