Great, after the 41-17 loss to the Vikings we get to look forward to another week of WFAN talk radio bashing the Giants and Eli Manning.  The Knicks, Jets and A-rod’s agent must be popping the champagne corks to get off the caller bitch list.  Watching Eli Manning run off the sideline after every pick and putting on that stupid red, white, and blue cap really started to get on my nerves.  Here’s a guy who can’t remember to throw the ball away, can’t remember to get the play off before the clock expires, but after every pick he dons that stupid hat.  Next week he’ll install the propeller that came with that beanie. 

OK, I know he probably has a sideline assistant who reminds him after each series of downs that he is being paid to promote that nonsense.  Funny thing is that searching the net for “Eli Manning + hat” I could not find one anywhere.  Just Eli and his assistant have them.  Everyone else had the traditional Giants blue cap.  Next week, how about handing Eli Manning a Polaroid of the opposing defense after each pick instead of his official NFL sideline merchandise deal.

And the final shot of Eli from the Giant’s TV telecast?  Manning running into the locker room without his favorite hat.  Maybe Tom Coughlin knocked it off his head.
